Marcus Whale is a dear friend of mine who is also a colleague at the conservatorium. We’ve worked together a few times on varying projects, but when Romy Caen called about playing in a voice based psh.live, we decided to start a collaboration with parameters set to let us explore things we were interested in. We wanted to be quite analogue, so Marcus worked with dictaphone and feedback, while I was just exploring unamplified voice and physical movement.
